Campus

The University of Winnipeg also has a campus that comprises 23 buildings and is located on Portage Avenue. The Rice Centre of the university hosts the university’s administration and students’ services. At the same time, the Buhler Centre acts as home to the Faculty of Business and Economics and PACE or Professional, Applied, and Continuing Education.

The university also has Asper Centre for Theatre and Film to provide theatre and media studies and recreation and sports facilities; the university has the Axworthy Health and Recplex. 

Not just that, the university also has a library consisting of teaching and studying needs. Some of the famous items that the library has are research material access, consultation services, and spaces for study. 

Research

The university is well known when it comes to research. The university has several research centers such as the Centre forest and Justice, the Centre for Research in Cultural Studies, the Centre for Access to Information and Justice, and more. The university also has Canada Research Chairs in Quantum Materials Discovery, Health & Culture, History and Archives, Culture and Public Memory, etc.

The university offers education through its faculties which are as follows:

Besides this, the university also has a total number of three interdisciplinary colleges located on campus. They are as follows:

Student Life

The students are provided dormitories in McFeetors Hall. The students will get fully furnished hotel rooms. To be very specific, the students will be provided double room suites, single room suites, and VIP suites. In double room suites, the students will get an in-suite bathroom and kitchenette area. In single-room suites, there will be entirely private suites where each will have a full bathroom. The last is the VIP suites, where the students will get access to unlimited Wi-Fi, telephonic service, a living room along with cable television, and a fully furnished kitchenette.
