The University of Waikato is located in Hamilton; the main campus spreads over 158 acres of land. The university also owns a satellite campus located in Tauranga. The campus also features laboratories, administrative offices, libraries, classrooms, recreational facilities, and residences. There are three libraries in the library complex on the campus. There are millions of print volumes of about 2,75,000 e-resources that support teaching, learning, and research. The other university facility on the campus includes a medical center, gym, athletic fields, student center, swimming pool, and dairy.
