CAMPUS

The University of Saskatchewan hosts around 25000 students undertaking undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students. It is under Grit McCreath as the university’s chancellor. The University is also home to the Canadian Light Source synchrotron, which is considered one of the most significant and most innovative investments in Canadian science.

STUDENTS LIFE

The University of Saskatchewan has several separate residence halls: Saskatchewan hall that is residence to 150 students, Qu’Appelle that has 120 beds, Athabasca hall that provides 270 residences, Souris Hall apartment complex for married students with families, which is a nine-storey townhouse comprising 67 two-bedroom apartments and Seager Wheeler Hall that provides housing for single students living in small groups in a fourteen-storey residential house.

RESEARCH

University of Saskatchewan researchers are incredibly experienced, and in collaboration with other researchers, the campus has been selected as the national facility for Synchrotron light research and Canadian Light Source. It is home to the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization and the Innovation Place Research Park as an industrial science and technology park.
