Universite du Quebec a Montreal was founded in 1969 by the government of Quebec. The campus is under Real Raymond as the university’s chancellor.  It hosts over 43,000 students and 1000 academic staff professors.

STUDENTS LIFE

The campus offers the hub public transportation, libraries, bodybuilding, and fitness centers, athletic excellence and sports teams, and students can join various groups and associations. 

The institution has a university residence just two minutes walking distance from the pavilions. It offers accommodations for 2, 3, 4, or 8 people and studios for people with disabilities.

RESEARCH

Research is an integral part of the Universite du Quebec in Montreal. Each academic department runs its research centers and institutes, including Montreal Graduate Scholl Of Fashion And Design, Institute Research Of Feminist Studies, Institute Of Cognitive Studies, Montreal Institute of Environmental Studies, School of Visual Arts and Media, and The International Research Group on Animal Law.

The campus has improved geographical accessibility through the Tele-Universite, also known as distance learning. Courses offered through the online program are; Computer Science, Education, Management, Environmental Science, and Communication.
