Campus

There are three campuses that the university and all the campuses are located at a different place in Greater Vancouver. The university’s main campus is located in Burnaby that covers 420 acres of land and consists of more than three buildings. The Burnaby campus is located 20 kilometers from downtown Vancouver. The rest of the universities are the Surrey Campus and Vancouver Campus.

The Surrey Campus has two buildings that are located in City Centre/Whalley, Surrey. The Vancouver Campus is one of the first university classrooms in the entire British Columbia. The university has a vast library as well, where it has very famous journals, citations, research papers, books, course reserves, articles, and databases.

Research

Simon Fraser University is one of the top universities in Canada when it comes to the impact of research. There are over-research centers that directly contribute to the university. The university has conducted many types of research and has established many successful research papers.

Student Life

Simon Fraser University also offers accommodation to its students. It provides accommodation to its students in six different areas located on the campus’s western side. 

Their names are The Towers, The Townhouse Complex, Shell House, McTaggart-Cowan Hall, Hamilton Hall, and Louis Riel House. In Hamilton Hall, all the graduates are provided with the residence to live and in the other five areas of residences are provided to the undergraduates for accommodation.

 All the university rooms have to offer to its students are private rooms where they can maintain privacy. Apart from this, the university also offers off-campus living options to its students to opt to live in Burnaby, Surrey, and Vancouver.
