Ryerson University is a public research university located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The university was founded in 1948 by the Ryerson Institute of technology. Later in 1966, it was renamed Ryerson Polytechnic Institute. In 1993, Ryerson Polytechnic University was formed, which was succeeded by Ryerson University in 2001 when the institution received its university status.

Ryerson University is under Janice Fukakusa as the university’s chancellor. The campus is located at 350 Victoria St, Toronto, ON M5B 2K3, Canada. The institution serves around 38000 students in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The campus offers facilities such as a library, museum, Centre for urban innovation, health sciences complex, international learning Centre, civil engineering building, campus store, and the Daphne cockwell complex. All these facilitate and produce a comprehensive study environment.
STUDENTS LIFE
The University operates three students’ residences with around 1100 Capacity on campus. The majority of the students do not live on campus, as only about 17 percent of the first-year students live in the school. Otherwise, the institution has a public-private partnership to construct residences opposite the school. Ryerson university campus Centre serves as the students Centre and governs cultural, social, and recreational activities.
RESEARCH
Ryerson University engages in several scholarly research programs. The research programs are operated in the research centers, including Modern Literature and Culture Research Centre, Centre for Digital Humanities, and the Children’s Literature Archives.
