Nipissing University is a primarily undergraduate public liberal arts university located in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. The campus was formerly founded as Northeastern University from 1960 to 1967. It was then renamed Nipissing College from 1967 to 1992. And now the current Nipissing University was established in 1992.

The campus is under Paul Cook as the university’s chancellor. It is quite famous for its individualized student experience, supportive and accessible professors, small class sizes, and research opportunities for students undertaking the undergraduate program. Nipissing University has around 4500 students taking both undergraduate and postgraduate disciplines. Nipissing University has three campuses located at North Bay, Bracebridge, and Brantford.
STUDENTS LIFE
Nipissing University has a student’s union that deals with the aspect life of students on the campus. The university has various clubs and activities governed by the students union, which are: – academic, recreation, volunteerism, current social topics, and religion clubs.
The campus has four residence complex types; the chancellor’s house, founder’s house, the governor’s house, and the townhouse residence. First-year students are guaranteed a single room accommodation in one of the suite-style residences.

Nipissing university research culture is quickly growing as the researchers receive more funding for their work. Some of the institute’s researches Centres are: – Central, Analytical Facilities, Biomechanics and Ergonomics Laboratory, Evolution Laboratory, Geomatics Laboratory, et cetera.
