Mount Allison University’s beautiful campus covers around 76 acres of land and constitutes even more than 20000 students who represent at least 50 different nationalists. The university has almost 140 clubs and societies on the campus and over 30 clubs and intramural sports teams. Besides this, the university has a community radio station known as CHMA 106.9 FM as well. 

Research

The university plays an active role in research and also encourages its students to do the same. The members in the Chemistry and Biochemistry of the university involve themselves actively in the research programs. Moreover, they allow their students as well to participate in the research program. The university holds summer research where the students who have put their effort and participated in the research are rewarded and given a definite stipend.

Student Life

The university accommodates around half of its students. The students of the first year who meet the admission and deposit deadlines are guaranteed on-campus living accommodations. Each room is assisted with Wi-Fi, cable, mini fried as well as a phone. 

The Mount Allison University’s residences for accommodation are Campbell Hall, Windsor Hall, Bennett House, Hunton House, Thomton House, Edwards House, Harper Hall, and Bigelow House. The students can choose the accommodation that they find most appealing and is under their budget. Not just that, the university also allows the senior students of the university to live in one of two small residences.

In Campbell hall, 200 residents can be accommodated, and the residence has four floors. In Windsor hall, 146 residents can be accommodated, and the residence has five floors. In the Harper hall case, around 187 residents can be accommodated, and the residence has five floors. In Hunton house, around 108 residents can be accommodated, and the residence has four floors. Bigelow House has around 85 residents, and the number of floors in this residence is four. The Bennett house can store around 102 residents on its four floors. Edward House of the university can store up to 74 residents and has four floors. Lastly, Thornton house accommodates about 71 residents, and the number of floors is four.
