Massey University is a university that is situated in Palmerston North, New Zealand. It is a public type university. IT is the only university in New Zealand offering degrees in nanoscience, veterinary medicine, dispute resolution, and aviation. The American Veterinary Medical Association accredits the veterinary school of Massey.

There are around 30,883 students in the university, among which over 3,000 students are international students who have come across 100 countries for studying at the university. If the international students are excluded, Messy University is the second-largest university in New Zealand.

Campuses

Massey University has campuses in Wellington and Albany. To be very specific about the campus, in Wellington, the campus is at Manawatu at Palmerston North. In Albany, the campus is at Auckland’s North Shore.

In Manawatu campus, administrative units such as the Veterinary School, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Massey Business School, the College of Humanities are located. In the Albany campus of the university, there are colleges of Science as well as Business. On the Wellington campus, the college of creative arts, journalism, communication, and nursing is present.

Research

Massey University has conducted many types of research and succeeded in most of them as well. All three campuses undertake the research. Some of their famous research includes maximizing sheep farmers’ outcomes, Infectious disease control, and preventing working dogs’ health.

Other than this, Massey acts as a home to two out of the seven centers of research excellence supported by the New Zealand government. Other than this, Massey University is also a partner in the other three centers of research excellence.

In accommodation options, the university offers an apartment, studio unit, and the option of living in the hall of residence.
