CAMPUS

Laurentian University is located at 035 Ramsey, ON P3E 2C6, Canada, and it is under Steve Paikin as the university’s chancellor. The institution has campuses located at Sudbury, Barrie, Hearst, Kapuskasing, and Timmins. Laurentian University hosts around 9000 students undertaking both undergraduate and post-graduate courses and 900 staff members.

The institution has partnered with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. It also offers the mining industry and engineering through the Willet Green Miller Centre, Geoscience Laboratories, Geological Surveys, and the Mining Library.

STUDENTS LIFE

The campus has a student’s union that is responsible for the student’s lifestyle at school. Laurentian University offers residence to its students in five unique accommodation Centers under the supervision of the main campus and federated colleges.

RESEARCH

Laurentian University research Centre employs a multi-disciplinary combination of technologies and collaborative effort with industries in conducting research. The institution’s research Centres include the Centre for Excellence in Mining Innovation, Centre for Rural and Northern Health Research, Sudbury Neutrino Observatory, and Mineral Exploration Research Centre.
