Campus

The Universite de Moncton has a total; several three campuses. The main campus of the university is known as Campus Universitaire de Moncton that is located in Moncton. Apart from this, the other two campuses of the university are Campus Universitaire d’Edmundston and Campus Universitaire de Shippagan. The Campus Universitaire d’Edmundston is located in Edmundston, and the Universitaire de Shippagan is located in Shippagan. 

The Universite de Moncton has a total number of six libraries across the three campuses. All the records from the libraries are collected and made into one individual catalog known as Catalogue Eloize. Besides this, there are two separate libraries that the university has considered special libraries. These two libraries cater to the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Education. 

Research

The research of the university also plays an important role. The university conducts many types of research. The university has several research centers, institutes, and chairs. Some research centers are international marketing center, research data center, wind engineering center, environmental sciences research center. In contrast, some research institutes are leadership institutes, Acadian studies institutes, and coastal zone research institutes. 

Other than this, the research chairs are Canada Research Chair in Public Administration and Governance, Canada Research Chair in Public Administration and Governance, Canada Research Chair in Polar and Boreal Ecology, Canada Research Chair in Optics and Quantum information, and more. 

Programs and Academic Groups

The Universite de Moncton programs to offer to its students emphasize enhancing the knowledge of French among the non-French speakers. The university’s courses are in Social Work, Public Administration, Visual Arts, Computer Science, Economics, Humanities, Psychology, Nursing, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Forest Management, Linguistics, Business Administration, Communication, and more. 

Student Life

Each campus of the university provides accommodation to its students where the respective students get access to the facilities such as free Wi-Fi, parking, and breakfast. In case the students select the studio apartments, they get to have their own equipped kitchenette and a microwave fridge. 

The students will also have their small dining area and attached bathing facilities in their studio apartments. In the case of traditional accommodations, the students will be provided with furniture, laundry facilities, and common recreational rooms. The campuses of the university have dining areas as well as a cafeteria.
