CAMPUS

Ontario Tech University is located at 2000 Simcoe St N, Oshawa, ON L1G OC5, Canada. The campus is home to around 9000 students, 400 administrative and 270 academic staff. The university has another satellite campus located in downtown Oshawa.

The campus offers facilities like; regent theatre, an award-winning campus library and the automotive Centre of excellence, bookstores, and security and parking services.

STUDENTS LIFE

Ontario Tech University offers two separate residences on campus: the Simcoe Village and South Village, both of these accommodation facilities are operated by the campus living Centre. These residences are shared by Ontario Tech University, Durham College, and Trent Oshawa campus students.

RESEARCH

Research is central to Ontario Tech University, and it uses research to nurture and encourage students on excellence across all the disciplines. The campus’s research facilities include Energy Systems and Nuclear Science Research Centre, The Software and Informatics Research Centre, The Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre, and The Energy Research Centre.

PROGRAMS AND ACADEMIC GROUPS

The north campus hosts: The Faculty of Business and Information Technology, Faculty of Energy Systems and Nuclear Science, Engineering and Applied Science Faculty, Faculty of Science, Health Sciences Faculty, and The Faculty of General Studies. While Downtown campus hosts; The Faculty of Social Science and Humanities and The Faculty of Education.
