Campus

Wayne State University main campus contains 203 acres of land, linking 100+ academic and research buildings. It also has six campuses of satellite located in Macomb, Wayne, Oakland, and Jackson counties. The campus is urban and displays many architecturally remarkable buildings. Many significant events have been organized on or near the campus because of its unique location. With around four million volumes, the WSU Library System holds the 75th largest collection in the US, reported by the American Library Association.

Research

The Wayne State University is reported as a research university with the most research activity by the Carnegie Foundation. In 2019, WSU spent $244.2 million on development and research.

Program and Academic Group

The university is made up of 13 schools and colleges, providing around 350 programs to 26,000+ students. WSU offers undergraduate and post-graduate degrees, MBA, MS, and Ph.D. Wayne State University’s attendance is student service, fitness center maintenance, tuition, and registration fees. The university offers 36+ study programs abroad in 16 countries.

Student Life

The South End is the official student newspaper. The university conducts the public radio station and handles the student online radio station. The WSU Alumni Association prints the Wayne State magazine. WSU offers optional housing for students in residence halls and apartments. All buildings are furnished with a connection to the university computer system, wireless internet, laundry rooms, a 24-hour help desk, and activity rooms.
