Campus

The VSB – Technical University of Ostrava accommodates building to be used for long-term investment project laboratories. The campus also has cafeterias, a company canteen, a central university library, language labs, and a sports center. The library provides digital services to be accessed by students and faculty. 

Research 

The VSB – Technical University of Ostrava is one of the leaders among the leader-based universities in Europe.  The university has developed methods to promote trans-disciplinary and multidisciplinary research works. Their theme of projects includes research on Computer Science and Cyber-Physical Systems, Energy and Raw Materials, Engineering and Technology, and Economic and Financial Processes. Their research centers include Energy Units for Utilization of Non-Traditional Energy Sources (CENET), Nanotechnology Centre (CNT), Energy Research Center (ERC), IT4 Innovations – National Supercomputing Centre, and many more.  

Programs and Academics Groups

Today, there are 7 faculties in the institute. They offer various courses in English also. They offer short-term courses, summer courses, and Exchange Programs. They provide bachelor’s, Masters and Doctorate degrees in various subjects. They conduct intensive English courses.

Student Life

The University has bedrooms to accommodate the students in the halls of residence. They are silver medalists in students‘ satisfaction.
