University of Weimar

Campus 

The University of Weimar campus is in Weimar, Germany.  There are sports facilities and a library linked to the university library. The students have access to the library facilities, sports stadium, computer center, and language and media center. There are service counters for advising international students also on the campus.

Research

The University of Weimar is a leading institution among the research-based universities in Europe. There are research facilities available in each department. The various research subjects include the Art, Design and Media Art, City, Architecture and Environment, Cultural Scientific Media Research, Material and Construction, and the Digital Engineering niches. 

Programs and Academic Groups

The University imparts education through its 4 experienced faculties. They are the faculty of Media, architecture and Urbanism, Civil Engineering and Design, and Art. These are vast subjects and covered widely under different sub-groups. 

Student Life 

The university has the facility for accommodating international students. The students can reside in guest houses and shared rooms under the administration of the student union. The most famous residence hall is the Hummelstrasse 2 for Erasmus students. Other private rooms are also available for students both on the long term and short term rental period.
