Tulane University’s primary campus is found in Uptown, New Orleans, on St. Charles Avenue. The campus was set up in the 1890s. It covers 110 acres of land. The campus has been a part of the National Register of Historic Places. The architecture of the campus consists of Elizabethan, contemporary, Modern and Italian Renaissance styles. The central campus is the center of campus activities. The library has two extra floors. The campus of Tulane University Health Sciences provides education in medical and public health. Locations of other campuses are Broadway, Covington, Louisiana, Cali, etc.

The University of Tulane offers research in biology, biomedical, computer science, bioengineering, etc. Tulane University has contributed and is contributing to effective research in all of the domains mentioned above.
Program and Academic Group
The University of Tulane has ten schools for liberal arts, sciences, and professions that are specialized. The School of Liberal Arts is surrounded by sixteen sections and nineteen programs in the social sciences, humanities, fine and performing arts. This includes sixty undergraduate majors and many Master of Arts, Master of Fine Arts, and Ph.D. programs. Additional opportunities can be found in the Summer Lyric Theatre, Shakespeare Festival, Carroll Gallery, Middle America Research Institute, and Tulane Marching Band.
Student Life
Three thousand six hundred beds are maintained in 14 halls of residence for undergraduate students. Warren House is included with Butler, Wall, Monroe, Paterson, and Sharp Hall. Students operate the university’s radio station, television station, and lifestyle magazine.
