The University of South Florida has more than 600 clubs and student organizations with a 28,000 square foot recreation and wellness center. The campus offers 50 intramural sports to be played on. There are three campuses, i.e., Tampa campus, St. Petersburg campus, and Sarasota-Manatee Campus.

USF always prioritizes research on its campus. The university has secured over $500 million in research contracts and grants for 2020. USF is one of the 94 public research universities and has been classified as a Doctoral University due to the ‘Highest Research Activity by Carnegie Foundation.
