The University of Mainz campus is located in the former barracks in the southwest of Germany. Its Cultural Society, Department of Applied Linguistics, and University Medical center are situated in Germersheim off-campus. It has a sports stadium and swimming pool. There are nine department libraries and 20+ personal libraries for the faculties.
