Campus

The icon of the university, the administration building, is a Collegiate Gothic structure that has a clock tower that is 24m in height and is located in the east. It is a campus covering an area of 1585 acres. Since its establishment, the university has been expanded several times. One of the fascinating things at the campus is the “Hello Walk,” which is a pathway surrounded by lush greenery. The path also symbolizes tradition and history. The university also has a golf course, arboretum, botanical gardens, etc.

Research

Idaho university is known for its research works in space held at their Space grant consortium. It occupies a park in Post Falls specially designated for its research works. The university also generates 74% of the state’s research money.

Programs and Academic Group

The University of Idaho has 142 academic degree programs. It offers educational programs in accountancy, art, architecture, agriculture, science, natural resources, engineering, law, wildlife, etc. The university is sub-divided into ten colleges. It offers degree masters, bachelors as well as in doctoral. It has more than 10000 students. The university provides transportation, apartments and also has several student organizations, housed sororities as well as housed fraternities which ease student’s life and also provides the much-needed exposure.

Student’s life

The University has designated apartments, dormitories, and residential halls for full-time local and international students. “The Idaho Vandals” is the university’s intercollegiate athletic team. It also provides room for sharpening one’s sports skills in sports like baseball—basketball, boxing, etc.
