The Village Lawn Campus of the university is constructed between the residential apartments. It hosts spring fling events that the university sponsors. Its main campus is 350 acres. UHart also provides 2 libraries, a cafeteria, a convenience store, and a court of food. Created in 1962, Hillyer Hall was the first on-campus classroom building.
Research
At the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture (CETA), students have the chance to participate in the university’s in-house research centers and gain experience with tasks related to engineering. Along with the university’s in-house research centers, UHart’s top strength is in its partnerships.
Program and Academic group
UHart has 6,000+ part-time & full-time undergraduate and graduate students. The university provides 82 bachelor’s degree programs, 10 associate degrees, 7 certificates or diplomas, and 28 graduate degrees. Recently, the university has launched a bachelor’s degree program in nursing. Athletic Clubs, Honour Societies, Health and Wellness Associations, Academic Organisations, and Religious Clubs are scholar organizations at the University of Hartford.
Student Life
Since 2nd February 1974, WSAM has been the UHart’s radio station managed by students. It streams its radio shows online. There are four different styles of on-campus housing that provide students with facilities of the internet network, telephones, cable television, study lounges, laundry facilities, activity rooms, and a kitchen. Konover Campus Centre includes a market, Subway, and an indoor eating place. SGA encourages student awareness & involvement and represents students’ voices.
