13th Arizona Territorial legislature founded The University of Arizona in the year 1885. The University is a public land-granted research university in Tucson, Arizona. The first building of the University was completed in the year 1890. In the year 1895 first three students passed their graduation, which made the journey of learning and education successful. The Tree Ring research was invented in 1937, and the university opened the first lab named Dendrochronology.

Campus
The campus of the university is spread in 380aces that is 1.5 kilometers square. The campus consists of a total of 179 buildings. It includes the Arizona State Museum building and Centennial Hall. The university is divided into two phases north and south sides of the campus which is named Mall. The campus is divided into east side and west side by the Student Union Memorial Center and Highland Avenue. In the year 1914, the university came up with the Athletic club named Wildcats, which is the major attraction of the university.
Research
The university has its research centers in the field of space exploration, data science, and cyber, health, politics, and humanities. They have an Applied Research Building (ARB), Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy, STEAM learning center, National Institute for Civil Discourse, Institute for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Studies, Arizona Space Institute for all the research related to space science.
Programs and Academic Group
The University of Arizona also offers many organizations and student programs. The university has many organizations in the medical field like heart and lungs transplantation. It also has a park student union.
Student life
The university provides four welcoming and warming housings, namely ARBOL DE LA VIDA, MANZANITA-MOHAVE, THE HONORS VILLAGE, and NAVAJO PINAL. Housings have an excellent dining hall, park, food courts, and various clubs for dancing, singing, theatre, and much more.
