Campus

University of Texas has 4 campuses over 758 acres. The Primary Campus Ground: oldest and most significant of all the three. The Downtown Campus: includes the College of Engineering and Integrated Design, College for Health, Community and Policy, and College of Education and Human Development. The Hemisfair Campus: Hosts Texas Folk Life Festival (an annual event celebrating the various cultures and their roles in the multicultural state). The Park West Campus: home to the UTSA Roadrunners soccer and track-and-field facilities. 

Research

The university is listed among class R2 research universities. The University features several research and development centers dedicated to prioritizing innovation and effective research in Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Sustainable Energy, Advanced Materials, CC (Cloud Computing), Firewall Security, etc. 

Programs and Academic Groups

University of Texas offers 159-degree options from its nine colleges, offering 66 bachelor’s, 68 master’s, and 25 doctoral degree programs. Various programs like FAME, Bold Promise, and UTSA Top Scholar. All programs are “Southern Association of Colleges and Schools” accredited. Enrolment averages up to 36,000 students with 350 student organizations Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) that may use UTSA in their name.

Student Life

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is the largest student program board on campus. Several on-campus living options are Alvarez Hall, Chaparral Village, Chisholm Hall, Guadalupe Hall, Laurel Village, and University Oaks. In addition to excellent accommodational facilities, the University offers various fun and entertainment opportunities as well, for example, Sports Events, Concerts, Theatre Shows, Festive Celebrations, etc.
