Campus

The university buildings are constructed with three-story in the style of Renaissance Revival, with Spanish green roof tiles and hipped roofs. The campus is 220 acres. The main campus includes 64 buildings involving nine residence halls, various athletic places, a stadium, a football stadium with 26,500 seats, the Adams Centre, and a multi-purpose area of 7,500 seats where UM’s basketball teams practice. On the northern side of campus, 29 evergreen trees are planted in two columns.

Research

The University of Montana consists of a variety of projects, institutes, and research centers. Institute of Educational Research and Service is a part of UM.

Program and Academic Group

The University of Montana offers eleven colleges and schools, five undergraduate majors, five Master’s of Science, and three PhDs. The college newspaper that students manage was founded in 1898. In 1924, UM’s International Program started as the International Student Club. In 1971, the first abroad study programs were introduced.

Student Life

Some of the sports offered in the university are basketball for women, men’s basketball, football, tennis, women’s golf, volleyball, and soccer. UM also displays an alumni magazine and a literary magazine. UM also has a college radio station. The housing of the University of Montana serves safe, clean, healthy, and affordable learning and living facilities that promote an all-in community living atmosphere for staff, students, faculty, and guests.
