Tampere University

Campus

The Tampere University has campuses known as the City Centre campus, Hervanta campus, and Kauppi campus. The city center campus forms the center of leadership studies, education, medicine, social sciences, communication, and life sciences. The Hervanta campus consists of a technology hub. The Kauppi campus is situated near the Tampere university hospital and acts as a home base for life sciences and medicine.

Research

Tampere University is a research university. Furthermore, the university is striving at its best to be one of the research communities that will be globally recognized. The areas of research of the university are health, society, and technology. Furthermore, the university has been way more successful in coordinating the flagship program of the Academy of Finland on Photonics

Student Life

In terms of accommodation, the university does not provide any. This means the students must arrange accommodation for themselves. So, to hunt for housing, the students can seek the help of the Tampere Student Housing Foundation or TOAS, where it manages to offer rooms at a very reasonable price.
