Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University was a public university that was founded in 1856 in Frederiksberg, Denmark. The campus operated till 2007 when it was merged with its Successor University of Copenhagen.

Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Denmark,were renamed to Faculty of Life Sciences in January 2007, later long. It was split up with the veterinary section merging into the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences and the rest schools merging into the Faculty of Sciences in January 2012.
In the gardens of life sciences, emphasis was placed on plants that belong in parks and gardens, in contrast to the botanic garden, which mainly consists of wild plants. The garden was a research and study garden for researchers and students. The garden had over 6000 different species, some of the trees being over 140 years old.
STUDENTS LIFE
The campus’s main accommodation was situated at Camden, Campus college groove that offered modern, self-catered residence for overs 100 students in 12 mansion style of properties. The mansion had study bedrooms, kitchen, and dining room, one of them having disabled access.
RESEARCH
The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University offered research centers that brought scientists together and collaborate across different areas of study. The institution’s strength was based on Veterinary Epidemiology, comparative pathology, immunology, whole animal phycology, protozoology, and medicine. Their research Centre was; Clinical Investigation Centre, Animal Welfare Science and Ethics, and Micro CT.
PROGRAMMES AND ACADEMIC GROUPS
The campus offered undergraduate and postgraduate programs in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, biological sciences, and CPD programs in veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing in terms of programs and academic groups.
