The Norwegian Academy of Music is a public university college designated to be a music conservatory, placed in Oslo, Norway. It is the most extensive music academy in Norway; furthermore, it extends its highest level of music education. The institution did get established in 1883 as the Academy concerning Musicians. Later in 1973, it merged with the Veitvet Music School forming the current Norwegian Academy of Music.

Norwegian Academy of Music is a university college, grants both undergraduate and postgraduate courses with room for over 400 students. The school does not charge any amount to its students. Students are only taken via auditioning or other provable eligibilities. The Norwegian Academy of music is Oslo’s City’s biggest performance organizer enduring nearly 300 concerts a year.
