Nord University is a national university in the Nordland and Trondelag counties of Norway. The system was established in 1892 as the Levanger Teachers College, which Nord Trondelag University College succeeded in1994 and 2011. It became the University of Nordland. Later in 2016, the institution was formally named the Nord university.
