The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology has a campus as well that goes by the name Campus Nord. Talking more about the campus, it is considered as the site of the leading German national nuclear engineering research center along with the Institute for Transuranium Elements. The campus also acts as a home to the nanotechnology research center and the neutrino experiment KATRIN.
