In Copenhagen, the Danish Pharmaceutical College was a pharmacy school that was started in 1942 after the predecessor Pharmaceutical College relocated to University Park in Copenhagen, Denamark. The institution was operational on that name until 2003, when it was renamed again.

Danish Pharmaceutical College was initially located at number 28 Stockholmsgade, Denmark. It was established in 1936 as the Pharmaceutical College in Denmark. In 1942, the institution outgrew its premises, relocated to University Park, and changed its name to Danish Pharmaceutical College in 2003. In January 2007, the college was merged with the University of Copenhagen. It was renamed to Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, which was later established in 2012 when it became a school under the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
STUDENTS LIFE
Danish Pharmaceutical College buildings were expanded with the New Pharma Science Building Technology, creating more space for accommodation and academic study areas. Its new building has new laboratories joined to existing buildings that have created an attractive conducive study area.
RESEARCH
The institution runs a Drug Research Academy that was previously a graduate program in pharmaceutical sciences under the graduate school of Health and Medical Sciences. The school has a pharmaceutical science library, a collection of new and old books, and provides access to numerous databases used for reference.

The academic institution now operates in 13 departments under five faculties which are; the School of Medical Sciences, School of Oral Health Sciences, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, and School of Public Health
