University of Mannheim

Campus 

The University of Mannheim campus is located in the city of Mannheim. It also has other memorial institutes inside the campus. They have historical rooms of the Elector Carl Theodor. A study conference center, the Mannheim Palace, the Mannheim Jesuit Church, and many other monuments. 

Research

The University of Mannheim is a leading institution among the research-based universities in Europe. It works in cooperation with the Biocatalysis 2021 research Cluster for the manufacturing of biotechnological instruments. It also supports the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht for material-based research. It also research programs under Aeronautics Science, Cognitive Science, Renewable Energy, and Sustainable Power Systems. 

Programs and Academic Groups

The University imparts education through its 4 faculties. They are the faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Mechanical Engineering. They are divided into small groups under several professorships to promote better learning. They follow the trimester system of learning. Exams are conducted at the end of each semester. 

Student Life 

The university has the facility for accommodating international students. They have 3 different buildings for different departments of students. There are also arrangements for renting flats on private service. There are shared and individual rooms. They have a facility for attached kitchen and bathrooms.
