The University of Dundee is a red brick public Research University located in Scotland, United Kingdom. The campus was founded in1881 as a university college, with a donation from the prominent Baxter family of Textile manufacturers. In 1897 it transformed to Constituent College of University of St Andrews, and in 1967 it gained its royal charter.
